Best Practices People respond to authenticity, and nothing says that better than having your photo in every email you

send. With the Dynamic Email Signature, adding a photo to your emails is easy. Here are some tips:

Avoid a yellow background as it tends to make everything in the photo look yellow (White works

best)

Outdoor photos and natural light work best

Purple Purse Kits

Contact Info | [email protected]

Overview Get involved. Join a growing number of agency owners using the award-winning Allstate Foundation

Purple Purse to help build local relationships and reputation.

One in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. The number one reason victims stay

in or return to an abusive relationship is because they don’t have the financial resources to break free.

Launched in 2010, Allstate Foundation Purple Purse is a public awareness and fundraising campaign

aimed at creating long-term safety and security for victims. The symbol for the campaign is a purple purse

because a purse represents the center of a woman’s financial domain and purple is the national color for

domestic violence awareness.

Order your kits and start planning for events in March during Financial Literacy Month, or in October

during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, or any time of year.

Please note: You have the opportunity to order both kits.

What Can I Expect? Purple Purse “Purse-onalize” Your Community Kit: A complete toolkit with resources to activate

Allstate Foundation Purple Purse in your community and raise awareness about financial

empowerment for domestic violence survivors. Contents include:

o Roll of purple ribbon: To demonstrate one in four women are victims of domestic violence, tie a

purple ribbon around every fourth tree or streetlight in front of your building, your domestic

violence organization or other high traffic location. Attach the weather-proof tag that explains the

issue so passers-by can link to PurplePurse.com. Combine forces with other agency owners in

your community to maximize the impact. Work with the Community Involvement team on media

coverage.

o NEW Purple Purse Charms (25): Share this accessory and symbol of Purple Purse with your staff,

consumers and customers. Featuring a new, more durable design and updated card, it’s the

perfect addition to a handbag, gym bag or briefcase. Order an additional 25 per month for FREE
