Crocodiles and alligators are carnivores. Crocodiles and alligator’s food is fish, birds, turtles, frogs and raccoons. Animals that alligators and crocodiles hunt are called prey. Alligators and crocodiles usually eat while in water. This is information about alligators and crocodile’s food. Alligators and crocodiles are part of a family called Crocodilian.

Enemies

There is only one enemy of alligators and crocodiles. That enemy is humans. Humans hunt them for skin and meat. People make clothing out of their skin. That is the enemy of the crocodile and alligator.

Parts

These are parts of alligators and crocodiles. Their skin is lumpy and bumpy . It is like armor and protects them. They have short legs for land walking and a strong tail for swimming . Even though they look alike there is one difference. An alligator’s snout is shaped like the letter U. A crocodile’s snout is shaped like the letter V. Those are the alligators and crocodile’s parts.
