TIPS!!!

If the RCUs serial number is null or empty after executing the SCN ALD command, first try to reconfigure or add the RCUs serial number thru ADD RET command and manually encoding the serial number and vendor code, before changing the RCU device.

TIPS!!!

2. Try to remove configured device/s first and then reconfigure/add the device/s after.

If the Power Supply Switch Run Status SMBT/TMA can not be turned ON, try to reset ALD Power Switch first using RST ALDPWRSW command. 3.2 Try resetting the corresponding WRFU board.. 3.1 check if the devices are properly configured to the correct port first before checking the physical connections ( feeder swapped ) of the cables to the devices. Or try resetting the corresponding WRFU board.TIPS!!!

5. For MOTOR FAULT ERROR alarm, check also the E-downtilt gear part of the antenna where the RCU is connected.

4. For ALD Current Out of Range Alarm, first check any loosed connections on ALD line especially the connectors from RF unit- Jumper cable to Jumper-Feeder connectors, Feeder-Jumper connectors Jumper-TMA/SMBT connectors. And then, SET ALDPWRSW to OFF and then ON. Also check that the current consumption is within the current limit set.TIPS!!!

For ALD LINK IS BROKEN alarm, test your AISG CABLE with the use of a multimeter tool. Carefully check the pins 1, 3, 5, 6 & 7, they should be shorted end to end.

6. For RET ANT NOT CALIBRATED alarm, just execute the CALIB ANT and SET ANTTILT commands.7. RET Antenna Running Data and Configuration Mismatch alarm, make sure the configured and current tilt is the same. Check using DSP ANTTILT.%%DSP RETSUBUNIT: OPM MODE= SUBUNIT, DEVICE = 0, SUBUNIT=1";%%RETCODE = 0 Succeed.

8. For TMA set-up, If you cannot configure the device on normal Ant Port, try to configure the device on the other Ant Port. Example, Port 0A to 1A, Port 2A to 3A and Port 4A to 5A, which means you have to set the ALDPWRSW of Port 0A to OFF and turn Port 1A to ON before you can configure the RCU or TMA to port 1A. 9. If you faced system busy on running the following commands, it may be because other related command is running or a HW problem on SMBT or RCU.DSP RET OR TMADSP RETTILTSCN ALD

Make sure no other command is running or take a little time before running the next related command, like,After ADD RET, dont immediately run LST RET or DSP RETTILT.THANK YOUTHE END
