Responsibilities:

Take ownership of faults escalated to Bytecan via the customers’ trouble ticketing system and log the faults in Bytecans internal tracking system.

Identify the most suitable person with the skills and knowledge to attend to the fault and provide information and requirements as to what spares may be required to clear the fault.

Provide feedback to the customer with regards to the current status of the fault (tech dispatched, ETA to site and tech contact details)

Establish contact with site owners/landlords to notify of the techs attendance and to provide copies of insurances and inductions if required.

Provide technical support to the on-site technician if required. Advise the customer of the status of the fault and provide information on the faults

resolution. Update internal tracking systems with regards to the fault and resolution details and log

techs time against the fault. Prepare reports when required (at least monthly for the Maintenance Manager, CFO and

COO for discussion at high level management meetings and at meetings with the vendor.

Achievements:

Exceeded the expectations of our customers in regards to SLA/KPI times for fault attendance and resolution.

Implemented a reporting system that allowed general fault causes to be identified and also allowed for individual component level faults to be identified. This led to our customers being able to organise for common failures (insufficiently rated air cons, incorrectly rated mains supply circuit breakers , antennas, electronic boards in RBS etc.) to be upgraded, reducing their costs in maintenance requirements.

Implemented and controlled after business hours maintenance requirements in regards to resource availability and attendance at night and also on weekends and public holidays

Construction – Operational Readiness And Commissioning Acceptance (ORCA) Auditor

Responsibilities:

In conjunction with Construction Managers (on a national basis), identify new site/link builds required by the customer and organise for the works to be commenced.

Audit the design packs and other related documentation relevant to the work and either accept the packs or discuss any issues found with the customers’ designer.

Once notified of the completed build, ensure the first level of acceptance has been approved (check for receive levels, data errors or alarm issues with the customers acceptance team).

Log this information into the required reporting tools and, if there are issues relating to the build, have them attended to and cleared.

Ensure on site staff have completed all documentation and have supplied photos as required by the vendor.

Perform desktop auditing of documentation and photos and submit these into the customers’ database for final approval if they meet the customer and vendor requirements.

If any issues are found during the desktop audit, liaise with the relevant construction manager to have the site revisited and the issues resolved.

On approval of the documents and photos, provide a report to the relevant construction managers (both internal and external) and also advise the Accounts Department that the work can be invoiced.

Provide weekly reports to the Construction Managers, CFO and COO in regards to progress and completion of all construction works on a national basis.

Provide reports to the customer and vendor on an as requested basis.

Achievements:

Exceeded our customers SLA/KPI requirements for documentation and submission allowing them to have their network assets integrated earlier than scheduled.

In conjunction with our customers, created process and procedures relating to documentation requirements and had these implemented for all of our customers contractors ensuring a standard was kept for all documentation required by the customer.

Provided training internally to all of our field staff and managers in regards to these requirements and ensured that the processes and procedures were followed.
