AHA Basic Life Support Instructor Course @ Mountain Lakes Regional EMS Council Office in Queensbury The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association. Step 1: Register at mountainlakesems.org and pay $175. Then forward a copy of your current AHA BLS Provider Certification to Mountain Lakes. Step 2: Upon receipt, we’ll provide you with an access code for the online portion of the course. Forward your certificate of completion to Mountain Lakes or bring it to the classroom session. Step 3: Complete the classroom session. Step 4: Be monitored by Training Center Faculty as you teach in the field. * Must hold & send current AHA BLS card * Must complete all steps before being issued an Instructor Card. Card issuance & Training Center affiliation by Mountain Lakes is not guaranteed we reserve the right to refuse applicants as per AHA guidelines and policies. Classroom Portion on October 7, 2019 from 6pm until 10pm $175 – includes Instructor Essentials course code and Instructor Manual
