ENABLING SABRE CRUISES INTEGRATION

1. For each user within AgentMate, Navigate to Utilities > Counselor Defaults 2. Click on Integrations tab. 3. Enter Sabre PCC. 4. Enter Sabre Username. 5. Enter Sabre Password. NOTE: Users will need to update this area each time the User’s Sabre Password

changes.

6. If you have multiple Sabre logins, you may store all within the Sabre PCC List. a. Select < New > to create a new PCC profile.

b. Click and highlight Existing Sabre PCC to display current details; Edit and Save, as needed.

Troubleshooting:

1. If you receive the following error message, go back to the steps outlined above and validate Sabre PCC, Sabre Username, and Sabre Password entries within AgentMate.

2. Go to http://cruises.sabre.com and try logging in with the same credentials. 3. If you are able to login to Sabre Cruises normally and you have validated User’s AgentMate

credentials tied associated with the integration, contact Member Services who will check the settings for your agency.

STARTING A RESERVATION *USER TIP: Before beginning an Inventory search, have your Guest’s Past Passenger Number(s) available; it will facilitate the process for identifying eligible promotions.

1. Navigate to Inventory > Search All Inventory. 2. Enter search parameters 3. Select desired itinerary.

*USER TIP: To see the details of any Special Inventory Options (groups, specials…), click on the Special within the Itinerary line.

Pressing Start Res within the Details screen will bring you back into AgentMate to create the reservation manually; press Close to minimize the promotion details and go back to the Inventory list.

Within the Inventory list, choose an Itinerary and click on the Sabre icon to launch the Sabre (Reservation) Starter.

1. Select City from the dropdown, to include residency rates. 2. Enter Past Passenger (Pax) Number, if known. 3. Enter Guest’s Last Name and First Name, utilizing fields provided, to port over guest contact details into

the Sabre Starter from AgentMate. (Use the Add > / < Remove buttons to add Guests to the reservation).

NOTE: Make sure you’re using the proper PCC if you have two logins entered on the Integrations tab of Utilities/Counselor Defaults.

A message similar to the following may be presented; if so, the user is being prompted to select a rate code.

4. Select up to three rate codes:

5. Enter the ages of the passengers at the bottom of the page; Press Continue. 6. Select category; Press Continue.

7. You will see a key that shows the colors for the various categories. Available categories are indicated with a

flashing green arrow box. Click to select an available cabin and Press Continue.

8. Under Passenger 1: Guest First Name, Last Name, and Age (if stored within AgentMate) should

automatically port over from AgentMate. a. You will need to enter the Title, Country of Nationality, and Age (if you do not have age entered in

AgentMate). b. Uncheck the box next to Immigration Information. c. Past Passenger Number may also need to be manually entered if not ported over.

9. Complete all areas as outlined for Passenger 1 for Passenger 2.

10. If you are not purchasing Cruise Line Insurance, check TRAVEL PROTECTION DECLINED; Press Continue.

11. Select Dining & Special Services; Press Continue.

12. Review the Price Summary. a. By checking “View Agency Statement” you can view the commission that is due on this sailing. b. By checking “View Payment Schedule” you can see the deposit amount due and the due date.

13. You may add a payment at this time if you wish.

14. If you see Pre/Post Packages, these are transfers that are automatically added in by Princess/HAL/Cunard; Go to the Special Packages page and click on No transfers.*Make sure to click four times: Once for each passenger on the Pre Cruise and once for each passenger on the Post Cruise.

15. Confirm the booking, and make sure you see this screen:

RETRIEVE BOOKING FROM SABRE

NOTE: You must make the reservation within Sabre to accurately retrieve it into AgentMate using the Retrieve Booking From Sabre functionality. 1. Within AgentMate, navigate to Reservation > Retrieve Booking From Sabre.

2. Enter the Vendor and Confirmation #; Press Search.

*If you have a RCI/CEL/Azamara booking that was made into a group, you must select “Group Booking.” For all other cruise lines, selecting the Group Booking box has no effect at this time.

*TIP: If you have a group booking, you can pull it individual reservations into AgentMate via the Retrieve Booking from Sabre function. However, you’ll need to move it into the AgentMate manually using the Maintain Bookings function under Inventory.

3. Select a Marketing Source and the appropriate client records:

4. AgentMate will create a new reservation:

a. Reservations held without deposit = Quoted Status b. Reservations held with a deposit = Booked Status c. To Convert a Quoted Reservation into a Booked Reservation, click Book Res

5. Onboard credits will be reflected under the AgentMate reservation’s Res Pricing screen.

6. Transfers requested within in Sabre Cruises will appear under Res Pricing as an Other line item by default; change the Type as Transfer.

7. AgentMate retrieves initial deposits made within the Sabre; however, credit cards numbers will not be retrieved. a. Add credit card numbers manually under the Receive Payment from Client screen, when prompted. b. Enter the amount of the payment to be applied; Press Save. c. To make the deposit through Sabre Cruises, click the Sabre box.

d. If the credit card payment is formatted with the correct number of digits and includes a logical expiration date, you will receive a message confirming success. This does not guarantee that the credit card was accepted. You should wait a few minutes and then open the reservation within Sabre to view the Booking History and Agency Statement. Investigate if PAYMENTS APPLIED area = $0.00. Each cruise line shows the credit card payment differently in the booking history, but you should see an indication that the payment was made. If you are not comfortable in this procedure, we recommend making payment by the cruise line booking engine or by phone to the cruise line.
