Action taken: The Presiding Officer asked the Secretariat to transcribe the report and tofurnish the same to the Honorable City Mayor Caesar Ian E. Acenas for hisinformation.

Councilor President D. Elipe reported about the Invitation to Bid posted on Philgeps websiteregarding the Gaston Park Redevelopment Project-Phase 3 (Musical Fountain) in the amount ofP15 Million plus, taken from the 20% Development Fund, containing appropriation for CY 2014which made it appear that the project has its budget and contract approved by the Sanggunian,when in fact, he said, it was not approved nor presented to the Sanggunian for approval andthat the project is not also among the projects listed in the Annual Investment Program, among

other things.

Action taken: The Body adopted Resolution No.12191-2015.

Councilor Adrian L. Barba presented two documents from the DENR regarding the road accidentat Portulin, Medina, Misamis Oriental, involving the vehicle of Councilor Zaldy O. Ocon loadedwith forest products, and called for the election of a new Chairman of the Committee onEnvironment & Natural Resources for purposes of delicadeza and protecting the integrity of theCity Council as an institution, among others.
