EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

I would like to express words of gratitude on the way the Africa Healthcare Summit 2015 was organized. From the organizational point of view and the content, the summit was done with the highest level of professionalism. Thanks for this.

Tayari Kanyamanza Jean claude, Director of Sales and Marketing Unit, National Medical Store rwanda / MoH rwanda

On behalf of HC4A and indeed on my behalf, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the invitation to the just ended Africa healthcare summit 2015.

I would like to inform you that as a charity we have met potential partners and collaborators through the interaction that I made during the summit. We now have a better understanding on the challenges some of the organisation are facing, in getting their much needed products to the remote areas in Africa.

I am confident that in the next few months the outcome of the summit will start bearing fruits for our Charity.

Once again I can not thank you enough and we applaud you for the commendable job that you are doing.

Kalala Kaoma, UK country Director – Zambia, Healthcare4Africa

I thoroughly enjoyed the Summit. It was rich in content and great presentations and discussions to carry forward into Policy and Implementation to promote long term partnerships in Health & Development among local, national and global stakeholders.

Dr David Kieghe, Technical Assistant/Adviser to HMSH on HSS & Private investment in Health at Federal Ministry of Health, Nigeria

We really appreciate the opportunity for our small charity to be able to participate and present at the summit.

I think the summit was put together very well and we have met some key contacts who we hope to engage with. I am producing a report on the summit and I will be discussing the possibilities of the OOF Health initiative potentially partnering with Oliver Kinross and having AHS be the only annual summit where we present our projects.

Andrew Njenga, Senior communications and information Officer, Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation

Thank you for such a wonderful and very informative conference. I must say it was extremely important, sharing information amongst countries and institutions was so rich and very beneficial to all of us.

Dr christopher Simoonga, Head of Policy and Planning, Ministry of Health Zambia

Africa Health Care Summit is an emerging unparalleled engagement platform for seamless cross fertilization of experiences and innovations on health policy practices, existing potentials and opportunities across health ecosystems with the aim of addressing the high disease burden threatening socio-economic development in Africa...It provides the necessary forum for face-to-face interaction and networking with a wide range of health solution providers...in the evolving healthcare market. The potential of the rich experiences [gained] from these interactions positively influences health systems, policy development, efficiency and effectiveness in health sectors across Africa. Dr Samuel Were, Head of PPP Unit, Ministry of Health Kenya

It was a pleasure to be part of such a well put together event, you and your team did so well, congratulations.

This was an invigorating experience with candid discussions on the future of health and our continent, indeed a unique opportunity, and I am glad to have been a part of it. Well done! Grace Ssali, Vice President, Uganda Healthcare Federation
