HistoryAdolf ("Adi") Dassler started to produce his own sports shoes in his

mother's wash kitchen in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, In 1924.

His brother Rudolf (Rudi) Dassler joined the business which becameGebrder Dassler Schuhfabrik(Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory) and
