Just north of Washington, D.C., Silver Spring is a suburban city in Montgomery County, Maryland. The southernmost, urbanized part of the city is a major business hub at the north apex of Washington, D.C. Silver Spring’s extensive ethnic diversity is represented in the assortment of family-owned restaurants amidst well-known national chains.
