Activity script. (Right after the presentation) Now we will pass some exercise sheets, as you can see, they have the images of the animals we showed you on the presentation, what you have to do is to write on the line the correct name of each animal. OK, now we are going to do another couple of activities using these new words you know now. First, here we have two sets of cards; the first one has the images of the animals we’ve just shown to you, the second one has the names of the animals, the cards will be face-down and finally mixed assorted, this will be a memory game; let’s split the group in two teams, one student from each team will pass to the centre and flip two cards, if the name of the animal matches the image the team keeps the cards, if not, they leave the cards in the same position they were found and they will return back to their teams letting the next student to give a try, each time a matching pair is found the student will tell aloud the name of the animal they found. The team with more card pairs will win. The final activity is this: you will write 3 sentences using the names of the new animals; the sentences will be written around these three questions: Which of these animals do you like the most?; Do you have any pets?; Do you know other animal besides these ones?. Discuss your sentences with a partner.
