ACTIVITY DESIGN Title: Re-Orientation Seminar on Guidelines and Documentary Requirements for Common Government Transactions Rationale: Pursuant to COA Circular 2012-01, dated June 14, 2014 entitled Prescribing the Revised Guidelines and Documentary Requirements for Common Government Transactions, the City Accountant’s Office has decided to conduct a re-orientation seminar to focal persons per office who are directed to process vouchers and other financial documents. It has been observed that the processes for disbursements have become lengthy and delayed due to some circumstances that could be resolved through a seminar on documentary requirements for common government transactions within the prescribed standards set forth by COA. In view of these circumstances it has become imperative to reiterate the set of requirements for various transactions to implement a systematic and effective disbursement process with a view of generating timely and relevant audit results.
