Each node is connected to the others in a mesh network, using a sub-gigahertz band.

This innovative feature ensures low energy consumption, high-quality data transmission, a wide range of

coverage and the lowest possible design and manufacturing costs.

Ackee nodes are smart and designed for Internet of Things projects: they are able to “think”, make

proactive decisions to improve network’s performances and perform actions required by the datacenter.

Thanks to Ackee, it is possible to perform simple actions on every network

node, such as switching lamps on/off and dimming LED lamps in order to

reduce energy consumption.

These actions can be scheduled during the day (for example: lights regulation

at sunrise/sunset or checkup operations in case of lamps or network faults) or

performed manually using the online dashboard, which is available as cloud

based service and compatible with any PC or connected device.

Each Ackee node communicates with the datacenter using a mesh, sub-

gigahertz network; transmitted data pass through an interconnection gateway

provided by the energy service company and is finally sent via IP to the

datacenter.

Each node transmits information about lamps and network status and

consumption levels (Ampere, Volt and Watt) in real-time. Thanks to this

dynamic network structure it is as well possible to send messages during

maintenance operations.
