Needs  Related  to  Student  Achievement  Data:

According  to  the  data,  there  is  an  achievement  gap  between  the  Hispanic  and  African  American  student  groups.  As  revealed  by  historical  performance,  the  gap  is  diminishing  although  it  is  currently  a  9%  disparity.

6th  grade  reading,  7th  grade  writing,  7th  grade  reading  and  6th  grade  math  is  performing  below  district  average  in  reference  to  STARR  performance  data.  All  other  content  areas  are  either  comparable  or  above  state  average.

Needs  Related  to  Improving  the  Quality  of  Instruction:

Indicated  by  the  data  tracker,  the  campus  is  proficient  in  all  four  domains  (LO,  DOL,  PI,  Eng)  and  reinforced  by  performance  data.  Although  the  averages  indicate  that  the  campus  is  slightly  below  the  proficient  rating  (2)  in  all  four  catagories.Engagement  is  the  lowest  performing  area,  above-­‐mentioned  data  included,  in  reference  to  the  quality  of
