The ‘Accountable and Ethical Decision Making’ course provides an overview of the expectations and responsibilities of public sector employees, and provides a number of resources to assist the development of an ethical and accountable workplace. The course covers topics including: personal behaviour; communication and official information; fraudulent and corrupt behaviour; use of public resources; record keeping and use of information; and conflicts of interest. On completion of this course, the learner should be able to apply appropriate ethical decision making processes; assess and implement ethical decision making policies and guidelines; recognise unethical behaviours; and make a positive contribution to ethical decision making best practice. Target Audience The courses are designed for employees of Western Australian government departments and public services. This will typically encompass adult learners aged 18-65. Duration Approximately 30 minutes.
