• Representative Advisor – TAP/TPNA 2008 to 2010

“Jeff has a clear focus and direction for his business as well as the business of the others that

overlap his territory. By demonstrating that everyone has a stake in the outcome, he is able to instill in

others a sense of shared purpose. He develops strategies to guide himself and others toward common

goals and gets others on board to support them.  Jeff accepts company directives with a positive

attitude and does everything he can to carry them out. While he takes his cues from stated policies, he

is not afraid to look for new ways to carry out initiatives.  As a Representative Advisor, he showed his

ability to carry out directives and initiatives with a positive attitude during the launch of the Regional

Access Report.  He played an instrumental role in launching, problem-solving, and completing this

project while involving other district specialists and managers.  The end result was a management tool

that helped improve routing, business planning, and most importantly clarified the various perceptions

surrounding the definition of "access”.”

Teamwork/Collaboration Competencies

Teamwork/Collaboration• Core Competency Review 12-17-2009 - "Demonstrated effective teamwork working with

Business Analytics Lead to produce the district overall access report.  Provided a safe environment for district members to contact you to discuss the Regional Access Report. You were able to fielding questions on how to fill in the report and more challenging questions about job security and what is the 'intent' of this report.  This takes true leadership and collaboration to create a honest and open environment. This report will truly help our team strategize with business planning and resources to grow the business." - Accommodated  for Teamwork/Collaboration Excellence.

• Core Competency Review 10-01-2010 – “Efforts were instrumental in the Vermont Medicaid addition of Kapidex effective 10/1/2009.  Due to your strong clinical knowledge of Kapidex you focused on insuring a key provider, (that is part of the DUR Board Review Committee) had all clinical updates on Kapidex.  You clinically sold the provider Kapidex as a best in class option and then followed through by having the Regional Account Manager for Takeda make a joint sales call to further discussion on contracting options with the state.  The end result was the State of Vermont voted to add Kapidex as a second tier formulary option with no restrictions.  This formulary win would not have happened without your leadership and teamwork with the VT medical community and Takeda."  Accommodated for Teamwork/Collaboration Excellence.

Additional Accomplishments:• Vermont Legislative Issues – “Jeff communicated across multiple departments the challenges

surrounding Vermont Legislative Issues as they pertained to pharmaceutical marketing and sales.”  Recognized via the Takeda Recognition Program: Teamwork

• Managing Change - Individually Managed the Territory – “Jeff has successfully managed the Western MA & Killington Territory in a solo capacity for the majority of 2009, 2007, 2006 and 2005.  His efforts exemplify his ability to make sound decisions, work under pressure, all while keeping a positive attitude and an open mind to future positive change. He is a positive leader to his peers in a state with legislation that is the toughest against the pharmaceutical industry within the United States.”
