•Parents must ensure that their child demonstrates a legal, ethical and responsible use of technology

•Is to protect the authors or creators, and also to promote the progress of knowledge

•The authority to establish Copyright Law comes from the US Constitution▫Article 1, Section 8

•Copyright is protection provided by law to the authors or creators under title 17
