students
Teacher Influence • How do teachers promote cheating?• How can teachers grade/award
students appropriately?• Why does cheating make our jobs
easier? • How do we encourage bad
reputations at our schools?
How can we make a difference?• Treat students like adults and explain
the importance of the topic• Set the tone early in the year by
handing out an academic policy contract and have students sign it
Classroom Control• Take away all supplies but writing
utensils• Frequently change tests • 2 minute time outs• Give assignments that can’t be
plagiarized and are specific to their lives if possible
• Give group grades to force all students to work and get the same grade
