ABSTRACT Technological changes in organizations are challenging and they are implemented with the intent of increasing the efficiency of the employees. In which there are both success and failure stories. Gaining insight into employee perspectives related to technology changes might strengthen the technology adoption and performance. The main aim of this study is about impact of new technology to employees with reference to Acute Technologies and Solutions, Chennai. The objectives of the study are; to explore various technology changes in IT company and its impact on employee attitude with reference to Acute Technologies and Solutions, to assess the employees’ attitude towards IT industry, to assess the reasons for the employees’ impact of technological changes on positive attitude, to assess the reasons for the employees’ impact of technological changes on negative attitude, to assess the employees’ expectations from the software Industry and to make suggestions to improve the attitude of the employees to the management. The study is based on the sample drawn from the employees of Acute Technologies and Solutions who are using laptop, mobile phones and web based applications in their projects. The objectives of the study are; to explore various technology changes in IT company and its impact on employee attitude with reference to Acute Technologies and Solutions, to assess the employees attitude towards IT industry, to assess the reasons for the employees impact of technological changes on positive attitude, to assess the reasons for the employees impact of technological changes on negative attitude, to assess the employees expectations from the software Industry and to make suggestions to improve the attitude of the employees to the management. The study is based on the sample drawn from the employees of Acute Technologies and Solutions who are using laptop, mobile phones and web based applications in their projects. The target respondents has been taken for the study belongs to various levels like Entry level engineers, Software engineers, Senior Software engineers, Lead engineers and Managers. The sample size of the study was limited to 125. Random sampling method was used to choose target respondents. Primary data collection was through the circulation of Questionnaire to the Information technology employees. Secondary data for the study was collected through journals, magazines and websites. The collected data was analysed using percentage analysis, weighted average method and chi-square test.TABLE OF CONTENT
