Skilling Initiatives/ Soft skills Enhancement

At the Corporate Resource Center (CRC) we have embarked upon an 'out of the box' approach to establish greater, enduring and synergetic industry linkages. In addition to the traditional push strategy, a pull component has been duly incorporated wherein we will commence asking corporate, industry practitioners and corporate leaders to partner with us for the long haul. Apart from the usual support of conducting Image management classes, Soft skill training by the Industry Experts, Group Discussion sessions, Mock Interviews initiated by CRC. This mock Interview is the best way to help students understand the world of work, careers, and employers. This is an interactive Informational interview involve allowing a student to interview a professional about his/her work and own career journey. The time commitment is minimal, 20-25 minutes. Some of the information students want to learn about which includes: career roadmap to the corporate leader's current position, a typical day for the corporate leader, the joys and challenges of his/her job, etc. During this informal interview, one of the departmental faculty also takes the technical interview which helps the students to polish both the academics and auxiliary side of the students.
