• “Agreement concerning the adoption of uniform technical prescriptions for wheeled vehicles, equipment and parts which can be fitted and/or be used on wheeled vehicles and the conditions for reciprocal recognition of approvals granted on the basis of these prescriptions”

1998 Agreement - GTR

extensive standards for battery testing

• Standardization and regulation of xEV is still a

dynamic field with changes to existing

standards an the development of new

regulations

•A future GTR could provide a world wide basis

for EV/RESS standardization

• Possible acceptance of Global Technical

Regulation for EV Safety by the end of 2017
