Features, Advantages and Benefits

The Weatherford JAMPro (joint-analyzed makeup) torque monitoring

system offers a combination of unsurpassed features. The JAMPro

system monitors the torque, turns, and speed of any power tong in

real time, and uses this data to help control makeup and ensure that

all tubing and casing connections conform to manufacturer

specifications. The JAMPro system can also detect damage to

threaded connections (API, premium, or high-chrome stainless steel),

enabling timely solutions for makeup problems; and an electronic

load cell measures torque in breakout mode.

The JAMPro system is the only torque turn system in existence to

attain ATEX (atmospheric explosive) certification status. In addition, no other system can match Weatherfords JAM delta dump software,

which identifies shoulder torque in real time during makeup and

precisely controls the tong to achieve design delta torque. The

softwares standard features provide a torque/turn graph, while

specialized features provide statistical analysis and reporting on

location. Customized client reports are provided in multiple units of

measurement (imperial, international, or both).
