KIA ORA AND A WARM WELCOME TO UNITECAt Unitec we are passionate about the power of education to change lives, and we’re excited you’ve chosen to set on your path to a better job or new career with us.

Our ultimate goal is to support all our students to success, giving you tools to transform your life along the way.

We’re also working hard to transform the teaching and learning experience you receive while you’re here. To support this we are planning some major changes to our campuses and student services over the next few years.

This is all intended to ensure we keep pace with technology and provide new ways for you to

connect - with each other, and with us - for support throughout your journey.

Over the next year you will have a chance to try out and give feedback on some of these changes, including a prototype teaching and learning space focused on improved collaboration and use of technology.

We also want you to have fun and enjoy being part of the Unitec community. Our long-term plan is to create a central, more modern core for our Mt Albert campus to make learning, collaborating and socialising even easier. Some of this work starts this year, and we will keep you informed ahead of time.

Be sure to enjoy our line up of orientation events with your new classmates, and get involved in one of many and diverse student-led clubs, sports, cultural or interest-based groups.

This A-Z guide to the student services we offer will help you navigate your way through student life and make lasting connections while you study.

We are delighted you have decided to join us and hope you will soon feel at home here on campus.

Kia kaha, we wish you all the best with your studies.
