Automated Plasma CuttingAutomated Plasma Cutting

This torch is specifically designed for use with the Thermal Dynamics Ultra-Cut® 100/200/300 Precision Plasma cutting systems for robotic and bevel cutting applications. The sleek profile design allows for excellent accessibility and visibility in most applications.

The torch is designed with built-in 4 ft (1.2m) torch leads that offer the ultimate in reduced weight, flexibility and robustness. This reduction of the overall diameter, weight, and minimum bend radius make this torch extremely durable in repeated articulated motions.

Profile Cutting ConsumablesNew contoured consumables allow for improved accessibility and visibility in many robotic and beveling applications. Offers variable bevel control through +/- 45°.

Self-Centering Components Maintain Precise AlignmentConsumable parts and torch body are engineered to precisely lock into place for absolute alignment and to remain perfectly positioned cut after cut. Having the tip and electrode independently aligned inside the torch head assures accurate re-centering of the consumable parts cartridge after each parts change.

Repeatable Positioning of Torch ClampingThe graduated scale on the torch body provides a visual indicator to help position the clamping device consistently.

Teach/Position ToolEach torch includes a Teach/Position tool that provides a visual positioning aid when the robot is in teach mode.

Easy Access Consumables

The unique Consumables Cartridge houses consumable parts only, no built-in head/torch body to drive replacement costs up. Changing cartridges is fast and easy – half a turn and the unique ‘SpeedLok’ engagement retaining ring engages the cartridge into a locked position. Down-time is reduced to minutes and you can change from one process to another or from one application to another quickly and easily.
