The Gayatri Vidya Parishad College for Degree and P.G. Courses(A) ever since its establishment has been progressing tremendously and today it is one of the premier institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh contributing significantly to the human resource base that the economy needs and run with self-generated funds.
The College was accredited by NAAC with B++ Grade and was conferred the Autonomous Status by Andhra University after due approval by the UGC first in April 2007 and in the second cycle in June 2014. NAAC accreditation and the autono-mous status have increased the responsibility of the institution enhancing the quality of teach-ing-learning, research, consultancy, skill develop-ment, community development and the holistic development of the student.

About the Teachers Orientation Programme
Teaching is divine and teachers are demi-gods. A
teacher is a continuous learner, a gardener who
nurtures the student as plants in the garden of
schools. A teacher always strives hard to upgrade
and tries to impart the best knowledge in the
students. In this regard a constant up gradation of
knowledge is necessary for a teacher to instill it in
the students. In this connection there is an urge to
organize a Teachers’ Development Programme with
a focus on enriching teaching and learning practices
which develops interactive pedagogies or ways of
teaching that will facilitate the students more
e�ectively in their classroom learning.
