What kind of holiday traditions make up your family’s celebration? Do you make or bake some-thing special? Is there a unique craft or activity that makes your holiday distinctive? Would you please consider sharing this information with us? You may either volunteer to visit with

your child’s classroom and share traditions with them there or simply pass on this information in writing

If your child is celebrating a birthday this month, we hope your plans include scheduling a Well Child exam for him/her.

Child care Licensing regulations stipulate that all children enrolled in our school have proof of a yearly physical on file.

Christmas time is almost here- can you believe it?! In the spirit of giving, we have partnered

with Shiloh House and asked to help in any way we can. If you don’t know about Shiloh House,

it is a FANTASTIC organization that helps mostly single mothers and children in need. Every

child deserves a great Christmas, no matter what type of financial hardship their family is fac-

ing. That is why we have reached out to them to “adopt” families within our community. This is

such a fantastic opportunity for you to share with your children about the spirit of giving.

Each classroom will be given a specific family to “adopt”. During the next few weeks, we

will have boxes outside of our classroom doors for any items graciously donated by our families

here. The letter you will receive with your family’s information will list items for each child by

their needs and their wants for the season. We also ask for donations for the parents as well, so

they know they are loved too!!

We are also bringing back Letters from Santa this year! After your donation, please take a

slip of paper and fill it out with your child’s name, address, their wants for Christmas, and any-

thing special you would like “Santa” to mention. We will send those letters out so your child re-

ceives them the week before Christmas.

We are SO excited about this year’s Christmas project and hope that we can come to-

gether as a family to support those in need. If you need an extra letter please ask Ms Katie!

year!

Parent’s Night Out will be Parent’s Day Out in December! We know how much parents have

to do this month during the day, so we thought we would mix it up and give you a day!!! It

will be Saturday December 8th from 10-3. We will be doing a fun Christmas Activity, eat

lunch and watch a Christmas movie! We will also be making cards and cookies to send to

troops who won’t make it home for the holidays. Oh yea...and there is one more thing… I

want to give this to you for free! I want to thank you for all that you do to support us

throughout the year and give you the gift of a Saturday afternoon! You must sign up

though! I will only have staff here to cover who signs up, so get your name on the list!!
