To Whom It May Concern:

Should you decide to hire Kelly Irish, you will NOT regret your good judgment!

I have known Ms. Irish for well over 8 years.

I first met her when she was serving as an ambassador for the Greater Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce. In her capacity as an ambassador, she not only welcomed visitors in the chamber’s office, she also planned and carried out unique events, motivated staff and volunteers---and KEPT THEM ENGAGED, ACTIVE, and ENTHUSIASTIC----and truly aided in rendering our formerly lackluster chamber of commerce a useful entity, both for the public at large AND for the business owners in town.

When Kelly became the business director at a local assisted living facility, things got very exciting in town! Within moments of stepping into her office, she had begun planning an antique car show, complete with fun contests (hula hoop, sock hop costume, etc.), doo wop music, and diner-themed decorations and treats. She pulled off that event within a few weeks of taking that position, and it was one of the most well-attended, and talked-about, events in our city.

Kelly has a variety of talents. She has the ability to inspire others to be the very best versions of themselves. She can get along with ANYBODY, no matter how cantankerous, crotchety, demanding, difficult, or gossipy. Her bubbly demeanor simply quells any issues of that nature, and brings out the best in people. Even those with the most challenging personalities strive to be more pleasant when in Kelly’s company, and to be cooperative and work as a team.

Kelly is a “keeper”---an employee who is loyal to a fault, and steadfast in her duties---one that you look forward to seeing every day, and one that you hope will be with your organization for a long, long time. She keeps confidential matters to herself, just as she should, and is careful to only portray her employers in the very best of lights, even after no longer being in their employ. She is a creative problem-solver, and is also never afraid to use elbow grease to get the job done. I even recall that she personally emptied a resident’s room of its contents when that needed to be done…and she donned rubber gloves and boots and scrubbed walls clean, steam-cleaned the carpet, hand-washed over a hundred delicate and breakable “treasures” that the resident had collected, and then lovingly and carefully reassembled the entire room for the resident. She even purchased some new throw pillows, a decorative throw, some home accents, and other goodies for the resident…and she, herself, painted the room in the resident’s favorite color as a surprise for the resident! Kelly did this on her own time, not while on-the-clock. Her kind heart and willing hands are a miracle, and her moral compass is exemplary.

Proof of Kelly’s strong moral compass lies in the fact that she was entrusted with an untold amount of priceless jewelry when she managed a high-end jewelry store in Tampa. That job required a trained eye, diplomacy and tact, the ability to converse with people AND to listen to them and meet their needs and expectations, excellent manners, and that amazing moral compass of hers. She enjoyed that job, and the jewelry store was consistently profitable under her management.

As the business director of an assisted living facility for nearly a decade, she consistently made certain that the residents had a clean and comfortable living environment, stellar nursing care, delicious and healthy food prepared by real chefs, and an abundance of varied activities to keep their minds and bodies active.

She was also superb at bringing folks from outside the walls INTO the facility to interact with her residents. From having local daycare children perform concerts to inviting the toddlers of the local “Grandkid For A Day” project to play with her residents, to having church bands provide sing-a-longs and concerts with her residents, to saying “YES!” when a women’s charity group asked if the charity could hold an open-to-the-public fashion show and luncheon in the facility, to organizing Wii tournaments, pet fashion shows inside the ALF, Chamber of Commerce mixers, and much, much more, Kelly not only enticed the general public to ENTER the facility and interact with her residents…she made people of all ages wish that they could live there too! And at every event that Kelly created, organized and hosted, people were talking about how they were making plans for their loved ones to live at Kelly’s ALF…because of Kelly and the way in which ran that facility.

In short, hiring Kelly Irish will almost certainly be one of the very best decisions that you will ever make…for the good of your bank account, your facility, your staff, your residents, and your community.

Warm Regards,
