TRANSCRIPT
Dear Parents,
We are pleased to inform you that the children are well-settled into the routine
of school, and the classrooms and learning areas continue to hum with the
usual buzz of students learning.
In Nan Chiau, we believe and are committed to developing our students
holistically. One of our key foci is to help our students explore and discover their
interests, be passionate about what they are doing and build their confidence.
Hence, from 2019, we have moved away from weighted assessment for Primary
1 and 2, as well as mid-year examinations for Primary 3 and 5. We plan to
create more learning opportunities for our students to discover the Joy of
Learning. Our teachers will continue to help our students develop their passions
into strengths and grow their confidence in learning.
As we will be celebrating Chinese New Year soon, everyone at Nan Chiau
Primary wishes all our Chinese parents and students a happy and prosperous
Lunar New Year!
Yours sincerely,
Mdm Lim Sheue Tyug
Vice-Principal
