played on our fears of the unknown effects of radiation.

Concrete reinforced multi-story office buildings collapse. 2- Aluminum siding evaporates, auto sheet metal and Lucite windows melt. Multi-story buildings with some reinforcement collapse. 3- Wood, plastics, heavy fabrics burst into flames and asphalt surfaces melt. Unreinforced brick and wood-frame buildings, like houses, collapse. 4- Upholstery, canvas, clothing burst into flames and painted surfaces explode. Unreinforced brick and wood-frame buildings, like houses, are severely damaged. 5- Severe 3rd degree burns to people; grass and shrubs ignite and fires spread. Unreinforced brick and wood-frame buildings, like houses, are badly damaged.
