Estimados amigos:
Esta semana estuve en el estudio donde guardamos
nuestras ventanas de vitral y algunas estatuas. Las
ventanas y las estatuas especialmente son de lo
mas fino en arte religioso en nuestra diócesis. He
incluido algunas fotografías en el boletín de esta
semana. El estudio esta haciendo un inventario de las
ventanas y de sus temas, lo cual me ayuda a
determinar mas rápido la ubicación en la Iglesia. Tan
pronto como tenga una lista de temas lo compartiré
con ustedes.
Algunas familias les gusta dedicar algo en memoria
de algún familiar. Como ustedes podrán ver en la
fotografía de las piezas individuales de vidrio son
muy pequeñas lo cual es una señal de la calidad y
energía que se aplicó al producirlas.
Afortunadamente para nosotros, las ventanas están
en excelente condición y necesitan de muy poco
trabajo.
Tenemos una iglesia llena de ventanas de vitral y sé
que todos estamos ansiosos por ver el comienzo de la
construcción. El Sr. Obispo ha firmado ya el contrato
con el Contratista General. Nosotros queremos una
iglesia nueva y ellos quieren que les paguemos para
que empiecen el trabajo tan pronto como el clima lo
permita.

Dear Parishioners:
This past week I stopped by the
studio where our stained glass
windows and some statues are
being stored. It was great fun to see
them up close again. The windows and the statues
especially are some of the finest religious art in the
diocese. I have included a few pictures in the
bulleting this week. The studio is doing an inventory
of the windows and their subjects which will help me
to determine their location in the church. As soon as
I have a list of subjects I will share them with you.
Some families like to memorialize a particular theme
or Saint in memorial of a family member. As you can
see in the picture the individual pieces of glass are
fairly small which is a sign of the quality and energy
that went into producing the windows.
Fortunately for us the windows are in excellent
condition and need very little work. We have a
church full of stained glass windows. I know we are
all anxious to see the start of construction. The
Bishop has signed the contract with the General
contractor. We want a new church and they want to
get paid so they will start just as soon as the weather
permits.

we will do exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 5:30-6:30 and after the
benediction we will start the bilingual meditation of the Stations of the Cross
in the Church. Afterwards, we will have soup in the basement for all attendants

R.I.C.A. Rito de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos, es un proceso de estudio y oración para quienes se unen a la Fe Católica. CATECUMENOS: Son quienes no han recibido todos sus
