Page 2 ENCOUNTER

Our next Children’s Summer Fun Day will be at Lake Frierson, Tuesday, July 10. It will be 10 a.m.-12p.m. Park Rangers will be taking

us on a nature walk and helping us identify the wildlife. Any children who wish to ride the church van to the park should meet at the church at 9:30 a.m. It’s going to be a lot of fun!

Our Children’s Wednesday-Night Bible Study meets in room 229 of the Life Center, 6 p.m.-7:15 p.m. All children completing grades 1-5 are welcome! We are covering Post-It Notes From God and are learning about God’s reminders to us on how to live a life for Him. We will not meet Wednesday, July 4, but will resume meeting on Wednesday, July 11.

Charitable Giving Tip Reflecting Your Values in Estate Plans

The Arkansas Baptist Foundation encourages individuals to reflect their lifetime values in their

estate plans. An individual's revocable trust or Will is the final statement that he/she makes in

this earthly life about what is important. This final act of stewardship for a Christian will likely

include family and ministry.

The Foundation helps provide estate planning drafts to individuals based upon their objectives

when those objectives include leaving at least ten percent of their estate to God's work. Those

individuals then meet with their attorney about the drafts provided by the Foundation.

For more information on reflecting your values in estate plans, please call the Arkansas Baptist

Foundation at (800) 798-0969 or (501) 376-0732.

Thank You

The church has received a

message of thanks from

Mitchell & Stephanie Nail for

considerations during their

battle with leukemia.
