Safety Warnings and Precautions

WARNING: When using product, basic safety precautions should always be followed toreduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.

Read all instructions before using this product!

1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.

2. Check for damaged parts. Before using any product, any part that appears damaged shouldbe carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function.Check for any broken or damaged parts and any other conditions that may affect its operation.Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.

3. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.Use of any other parts will void the warranty.

4. Always check hardware and assembled parts after assembling. All connections should betight and hardware tightened.

5. Keep children away. Children must never play on or climb on the Workbench.

6. Dress properly. Gloves are recommended when assembling the Workbench. Wear restrictivehair covering to contain long hair.

7. Use eye protection. Always wear ANSI-approved impact safety goggles when assemblingthis product.

8. Maintain product with care. Keep the Workbench in a dry location.


9. Use the right Workbench for the situation. There are certain applications for which thisWorkbench was designed. Do not modify this Workbench and do not use this Workbench for apurpose for which it was not intended.

10. Do not exceed the Workbench’s maximum weight capacity of 800 Lbs. for the Top Shelfand 180 Lbs. for the Bottom Shelf. Make certain that weight on the Workbench is evenlydistributed.

11. Do not use or assemble the Workbench if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Readwarning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgement or reflexes are impaired whiletaking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not assemble or use the Workbench.

WARNING: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannotcover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood bythe operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built intothis product, but must be supplied by the operator.

Assembly/Operation

Your Workbench will require complete assembly. The Workbench is heavy; two or more individualswill be required to safety assemble this product. It is important that you read the entire manual tobecome familiar with the product BEFORE you assemble and use the Workbench. Beforeassembling the Workbench, be sure that you have all parts described in the Parts List andAssembly Diagram located on page 5 of this manual. Note: Numbered paragraphs below refer toStep Numbers shown on page 5.

Step 1 Attach the Lower Shelf (2) to the Legs (1). Set the Lower Shelf (2) so that the backstop sitson the outside-rear of the Legs (1). Insert four Screws (5) into each Leg (1) and through theLower Shelf (2) backstop. Thread on Nut (6) to secure in place-see Assembly Diagram.

Step 2 Thread two Screws (5) down through each side of the Lower Shelf (2) and through thecross braces located on the lower portion of each Leg (1). Secure in place with Nuts (6).

Step 3 Set the Cross Bar (4) down onto the Top Shelf (3) making certain it is centered on theTop Shelf. Note that there must be room to attach the Legs (1) to the Top Shelf (3) once thisstep is completed-see Assembly Diagram and Figure 1.

Step 4 Insert eight Wood Screws (7) down through the Cross Bar (4) and into the Top Shelf (3) asshown in Figure 1 and in the Assembly Diagram.

Step 5 Set the Top Shelf (3) upside down onto your work. Flip the Workbench upside down and setit down on top of the Top Shelf (3). Thread three Wood Screws (7) down through eachLeg (1) and into the Top Shelf (3) as in Assembly Diagram.

Step 6 Attach the Leg Extensions (8) to each Leg (1). Slide Leg Extension (8) over pin on Leg (1)so that the pin will slide into the narrow portion of the Leg Extension tab when the Workbenchis in an upright position; tap into place-see Figure 2 and Assembly Diagram.

Step 7 Completed Workbench. Set the Bench up on a level and solid surface capable of supportingthe Workbench and its maximum weight capacity of 980 Lbs. (Top Shelf 800 Lbs.; Bottom Shelf 180Lbs, evenly distributed). Make certain that the Leg Extensions (8) are securely attached, thathardware is securely tightened and that the Legs are square to the floor once the Workbench is setup. Make certain that both the Top Shelf and Bottom Shelf are secure and square with the Legs.Recheck hardware periodically to insure tightness.
