What presentational devices are used to persuade the audience?

The use of the colour red is used as the background of the advert.

The ‘Quit smoking’ advert uses colour to draw the audience into the advertisement.

The connotations of the colour red suggest that people who smoke may be in danger, and your eyes are automatically drawn to the advert. Furthermore, the use of the white text and ‘Smokefree’ logo makes it stand out more.
