OBJETIVO: Expresar gustos y disgustos.
Use of expressions: likes and dislikes.Look at the following pictures. Tick ( ) the ones that make you feel comfortable.

Expresing personal opinions
Likes expressions:-I love…-I like…
-I enjoy…-I prefer… than…
Dislike expressions:-I hate…
-I don’t like…-I dislike…
-I can’t stand…
When you talk about actions that you prefer to do, you are expressing your likes and dislikes. Likes and dislikes are personal ideas that people say according to their interests, family beliefs, culture, religion etc. Likes and dislikes are never negative ideas, on the contrary, they just express what YOU or OTHERS think about a topic.
“Likes” expressionsThese expressions help you when you like to express opinions about things or situations that you like to do. You can use the following phrases:
I love… I love eating pizza with my friends.I like… I like pop music.I enjoy... I enjoy spending time with my friends during the weekend.I prefer… I prefer playing football than playing basketball
“Dislikes” Expressions:These expressions help you when you like to express opinions about things or situations that you dislike to do. You can use the following phrases:
I hate… I hate when my dad gets angry at me.I don’t like… I don’t like doing homework.I dislike… I dislike doing physical exercise.I can´t stand… I can’t stand going to school by Transantiago buses.
