Two of the eight activities we conduct are : a. Goal Setting in the goal setting activities, students are trained to establish specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-targeted (S.M.A.R.T) goals. The activities are done periodically. b. Market Day Here students will learn, by having the first hand experience, to understand the essence of profit and loss in a trade base transaction Dr. Howard Gardner, a psychologist and professor of neuroscience from Harvard University, developed the theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI) in 1983. According to Howard Gardner, human beings have nine different kinds of intelligence that reflect different ways of interacting with the world. Each person has a unique combination, or profile. Although we each have all nine intelligences, no two individuals have them in the same exact configuration -similar to our fingerprints. KHALIFA IMS holds nine different events per year to help parents detect each child’s strong intelligences. Sekolah Khalifa IMS was established by Yayasan Insan Madani Sejahtera in 2008 to provide alternative education for Muslim Children to develop each child to his/her fullest, give sound academic preparation to be a long life learner with international benchmarks and to Go Global the Islamic Way. To experience a happy environment to be one step ahead, continuously learning, internationally recognized, an innovative leader and aware that Allah SWT is the source of happiness. As the motto for teaching Islam is Brain + Heart = Happy and Smart, the main objectives of Islamic teaching are for the students to love Islam, be very grateful to be Muslims and observe it whole-heartedly. Therefore, we internalize the Islamic teaching in all school activities and divide Islam subject into sub-subjects. They are :a. Tahfizh, Al Qur’an memorizationb. Better yet, The Leader in Me equips students with the self-confidence and skills they need to thrive in the 21st century economy.

We decided to aim at Cambridge Standard because it is used all over the world as it is stated in its website that more than 9000 schools offer Cambridge programmes and qualifications. They operate in 160 countries across 6 regions : Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, South Asia, and Southern Africa. It is also flexible and can be combined with Indonesian national curriculum. Subjects that are set to target Cambridge curriculum are :a. Englishb. Mathsc. Science

Currentley we teach three languages :a. Bahasa Indonesia

Bahasa Indonesia is taught in Bahasa. Apart from the regular objectives : to use the language correctly and prepare students for the Ujian Nasional later in Grade 6, Bahasa Indonesia teaching is also aimed at strengthening the national identity and being proud of their own language.

b. EnglishEnglish is used as the language of instruction in most subjects and social language among students on the school premises.

c. ArabicArabic is done in Arabic. By mastering Arabic, it is hoped that students will understand the meaning of The Islamic Holy Book -Al Qur’an more easily.
