Opening Activity (10 minutes ) Students will write in a small piece of paperWhy do they think statistics is important and did their idea about statistics change after last 2 weeks of classes. After wards they will share their ideas with the whole class.
Individual Activity: (25 minutes)
Students will solve the Half Time on page 522
Pair Activity: (15 minutes)
Students will have to solve Practice Sheet 9C of Pearson Mathematics Homework Program as a worksheet.Board Review: (10 minutes)
Teacher will review the problems that were given in the worksheet.
Closing Activity( 10 minutes)This is a small whole class activity. The teacher chooses a volunteer and with the feedback of the students the whole class solves challenge 9 on page 553 of the student text book on the board.
Home Work: Page 558 Text book ( The NAPLAN practice)

Pair Activity: (20 minutes)
Students will work on the data of U.S presidents to solve the problems given in a worksheet.Board Review: (10 minutes)Teacher reviews the answers to the problems.Closing Activity: (10 minutes)
Teacher asks for feedback from the students and answers to their critical questions. Teacher reminds the students that there will be an assessment tomorrow.
