ARCIn Their Words…

"…After bright academics and a successful career, anunfortunate chronic illness landed me in an ICU for almost

three years! Future seemed to be bleak and a corporate

job seemed uncertain to me. My passion to regain my lost

glory encouraged me to knock the door of the ARCAcademia to "mentor me." I travelled 2,000 kms, almost

bankrupt, loads of concerns on my unstable health, daring

bitter-cold in Winter... reached Delhi. My recouping began during the six-week intensive training program that was tailor-made to suit my career

aspirations, where complete attention has been paid to every minute detail.

Apart from the moral support and career assurance, my training was highly

professional, practical and thorough beyond my expectations coveringfundamentals, advanced topics and complete guidance during the

interviews phase. Now, I emerged highly successful, working for a Global

Big-3 Consulting firm... and Rest is History..." Humble Thanks to Team

ARC for bringing me back to life."Jagdeesh Basina, E&Y

"ARC Academia, brings the most relevant and up to

date course curriculum to enhance your knowledge or

to obtain a job in the Investment Banking Industry. The

6 week extensive program and teaching methodology,

designed by professionals, replicates the work practices

implemented by the top Investment Banking firms. In

addition, their exceptional support to prepare

you for an interview or to clarify your doubts anytime makes them the

finest institute in the Industry. My hearty thanks to the whole team of

ARC because of whom I was able secure a great job immediately after

completion of the course."

Gurpreet Sachdeva, Analec Securities

“I undertook the 6 week intensive training program onValuation from Wall St Training office in India and I am

thoroughly impressed. The structure of the program helps

novice in the domain of I-banking ramp up gradually and

methodically. Coming out of this program I feel veryconfident about roles and responsibilities of an I-bank

equity market analyst. I must give full credit to the faculty

for being very patient, through and knowledgeable. My skills set rangingfrom working in excel spreadsheet to power point and from understanding

the financial statements of a company to complicated and complex DCF

has improved drastically since I joined the 6 weeks program. I would

strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to make a transition into I-banking or is looking for a job as a fresher.”

Tushar Pande, Moody’s

"The Investment Banking training in India plugs the

theoretical models learnt in the universities with real life

practice. It exposed me to the practical applications of

all academic concepts in finance, thus enabling me to

be job ready. As the curriculum delivered is exactly how

it is done on Wall St and other financial centres across

the globe, it takes a practical approach to learning.

Indeed, this has been a wonderful learning experience and value for

investments. Thank you to the Wall St - ARC Academia team, as I look

forward to effectively applying the knowledge gained here on my next

jobs.

Relative Valuation – Analysis of Selected Publicly Trading Companies Format: 100% Excel

Company Comparable Analysis / Trading Comps analysis is one of the most critical functions of any financial analyst. This method utilizes

benchmark multiples based on publicly traded companies. It is important to note that trading multiples do not reflect control premiums or potential

synergies from a buyer. Mastering thisjob is crucial to success in capital markets, whether you are in investment banking, equity research, or

asset management. This excel-based hands-on teaches you to analyze and compare publicly traded companies from a relative valuation

perspective, focusing on current market valuation and trading multiples.

What Delegates learn

How to choose right set of peers; comparing „apples to apples‟

Normalizing financials for extraordinary items, non-recurring and restructuring charges

What is Enterprise Value (EV) and how it is different from Equity Value

Can EV be negative; if yes then how do I value a company

Treasury Method of calculating diluted shares outstanding (dilution impact of ESOPs, Convertible bonds / debentures etc)

Analyzing multiples (Trading and market based) (e.g. why EV/EBITDA is preferred over P/E)

Trading Comps

ARCTransaction Comps

Transaction Comps Format: 100% Excel

Transaction / Deal Comps is another critical function an analyst should master. Deal Comps or Analysis of Selected Acquisitions are very

similar to trading comps except deal comps multiples are based on the transactions happened in past compared to trading comps where

the multiples are calculated based on current trading price of publicly traded companies. This hands-on, Excel-based class teaches you to

analyze and compare the transactions happened in the industry in past to aid the future transactions.

What Delegates learn

How to choose right set of transactions; comparing „apples to apples‟

Calculate transaction value (purchase price), premiums and multiples in past deals

Enterprise Value vs Transaction Value

Financial Modeling & DCF ValuationFormat: 100% Excel

Excel based Financial Modeling starts with creation of a top-down income statement projection model. Then, construct a basic discounted cash

flow analysis on top of your projection model. This Excel-based class provides a non-academic, real-world, hands-on primer to the quantitative

and technical aspects of financial modeling. The DCF approach is among the most scientific and theoretically precise valuation methodologies

because it relates specifically to the profitability and growth of the business being valued.

automatically

How to project financials for next 5 years of a company

Calculation of Terminal Value

How to calculate Present value of forecasted numbers in excel

How to drive Intrinsic value per share; intrinsic value is not the target price per share

Sensitivity Analysis and why it is important
