5 steps to higher conversion rates | web marketing
TRANSCRIPT
Step 1 - Content Rules
Content is “king” when it comes to successful
web marketing but to many marketers are
creating poor quality content to fill their time
cards. Don’t get caught writing garbage
content!
Keep it short | Keep it simple | Keep it relevant
Lastly - Make it often (post lots of short
relevant content rather than long boring
content)
Step 2 - Who Are You?
It happens everyday. I do a web search and
find a site that seems irrelevant to my search.
Make sure your product or service is clear.
“We are company XYZ and we make beer!”
Step 3 - How Can I?
How can I buy your product, service, etc…
Make sure your visitors can clearly identify
how to convert into a customer. This means
you clearly label you store as store and not
as “collections” or something irrelevant.
Think of the KISS (keep it simple STUPID)
method. Make it easy for anyone to get it.
Step 4 - Form not Essay!
Forms are used to collect info (leads usually).
Make sure you are using as few fields as
possible.
Full Name, Email, Phone, Question
You can get the other details later (what else
were you going to talk about?)
Step 5 - Be Relevant
Keep your site up to date. A good site should
- look modern, be fast, be clutter free, mobile
friendly, and most importantly relevant (your
customers only want to know what they need,
not what you think they want).
