5 Instances of People Doing the Naughty at 30,000 Feet in the Air

1. On a 1999 American Airlines flight from Dallas, Texas to Manchester, England, a pair of hotshot executives just could not wait until their plane landed to get their hands on each other. David Machin and Amanda Holt, respectively 40 and 36 at the time, took advantage of their free alcohol privileges and spacious seats in business class. Machin and Holt seemed to express no shame when they engaged in their drunken and lustful behavior much to the horrors and desperate pleas from cabin crews and nearby neighbors to halt their sexual activities.

It doesnt stop there! The couple simply refused to stop and even continued until the lights came on and the flight attendants were starting their rounds for breakfast service. At this time, Holt apparently just sat in her seat with nothing but her bra and panties and was not compliant with requests from others to put her clothes back on.

Once the aircraft touched down on the tarmac in Manchester, both Machin and Holt were charged with intoxication on an aircraft, public indecency, and causing public disturbance and distress. David and Amanda Hope it was worth it!

2. Last year in 2014, a woman was accused of acts of indecency on an Air Canada flight to Halifax. Alicia Lander from Nova Scotia and her partner in crime, Jason Chase from Alberta, were met with two Mounties when her flight arrived at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. Lander claimed she simply became too inebriated on the flight, thus rendering her wholly unable to recall what had transpired so high up in the air.

Well, Alicia seems like you have a witness! A man from Toronto, who was obviously and unfortunately, on the same flight, swore that he caught sight of the naughty duo feeling and fondling each other from their seats. Does that jog your memory banks a little Miss Lander?

From what Lander can remember though, it seemed like she was having a bad day, went to a bar during her layover, met a nice, giving gentleman, and then proceeded to drink way too many Crown Royal shots way too quickly. Looks like somebody cant handle their alcohol!

3. Oh, yet another booze-filled, sex-having flight but this time to Las Vegas! How fitting. A young British woman in her twenties was flying on a Virgin Atlantic aircraft with her good ole parents when she met a fellow in the seat next to her.

The two apparently hit it off and things started to get a little heaty. So heaty, in fact, that they had to move to the washroom to finish off their festivities. Flight members eventually had to break through the lavatory doors when the pair became a little too loud for the likings of the other passengers.

The young woman, seemingly not happy with the interruption, began screaming curse words at those around her in her drunken and aroused stupor. She then had to be shackled to her seat for the rest of the duration of the flight. Needless to say, the 11-hour flight from London to Las Vegas was an eventful one.

Once off the plane and at the McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, the woman was given a slap on the wrist by local cops and let go. She is assumed to have continued her shenanigans in the city of sin.

4. Imagine the mile-high club. Now imagine Ralph Fiennes. Now imagine the both of those together. An Australian flight attendant proved she was luckier than all of us when she took the opportunity to engage in a shameless rendezvous with the famous English actor in 2007. Lisa Robertson, 38, admitted it was not something she is proud of but alas, she does not regret it. Can you blame her?

Robertson walked by Fiennes seat and immediately recognized the man as a well-known actor. She then offered him a selection of their champagne and juices. This is where things start to get a little steamy!

Fiennes apparently stroked Robertsons arm and they exchanged subtle flirtations between one another. At 11 at night, she retired to her crew area and shortly after Fiennes joined her. Hands were held, necks were caressed, mouths were kissed, and dresses and shirts were unbuttoned. Next thing Robertson knew, they were both in the lavatory doing the dirty.

True story or some wild sex fantasy conjured up in the imaginative head of a bored stewardess? Either way, we are not complaining.

5. Continuing on the topic of celebrities who have joined the mile-high club Are actually quite a few of them. On an episode of Ellen DeGeneres, stars of the movie Mortdecai, played a game called Never Have I Ever and boy, was it scandalous!

DeGeneres asked Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Paul Bettany if any of them had enlisted in the activities of the mile-high club. All four famous figures held up their I Have paddles to signify that yes, indeed, each of them had done the naughty whilst up in the air. Hope none of your kids were watching that Ellen episode.

It can be safe to say that no arrests were made or any complaints were filed from other passengers. Ah, the perks of flying on private charter jets and not commercial airlines.
