The executive will discuss the most appropriate time for meetings and advertise the meeting time via the newsletter and Facebook. If you would like to join the P&C and have a suggested meeting time that may suit others as well as yourself, please contact a member of the committee. The Grounds Committee were planning to have a Busy Bee during the school holidays. Unfortunately, we are unable to set a date until we are able to move the large logs to the junior playground. If anyone has a contact for someone who has the equipment suitable to move these logs please let me know. For your forward planning, attached to this newsletter, you will find the term two planner. All planned events are advertised so that you and your family can attend the assemblies and events planned to enrich our students educational experience. School events, plans and excursion notes are available on the school webpage [email protected], and in the School Space which can be accessed by you Connect login. In the final 2 weeks of term, students will have the opportunity to participate in activities which are part of the Health and Physical Education plan for 2018. The Life Education Van visited this week. This program is supported by ALCOA and the visit to the Bike Education facility at Maylands is supported by the City of Rockingham. A Message from our Principal

Dear Parent/caregivers,

Congratulations and thanks to Rebecca Burridge (President), Caroline

Harwood (Vice President), Leanne Wood (Secretary), Verushka Potter

(Treasurer) who were elected to the executive committee of the P&C

association last Thursday evening.

The executive will discuss the most appropriate time for meetings and

advertise the meeting time via the newsletter and Facebook. If you

committee.

A Message from our Chaplain Walk Safely to School Day and Breakfast Next Term Walk safely to school day will be on Thursday 16th May. We will be holding a breakfast in the Community Room if you would like to join us. Breakfast Club

PAINT ME A RAINBOW For Autism Awareness WA

On Friday the 10th of May Cooloongup Primary School will be supporting the Paint Me A Rainbow Campaign, raising

awareness and acceptance of children with an

autism diagnosis

Rainbow merchandise will be available before school from Monday 6th May. Lolly Jar guessing competition - $1 for 3 guesses Autism Awareness bands - $1 (Can be worn at school until the end of the 10th of May) Colouring in competition

RAINBOW DAY 10th MAY

Children are invited to wear Rainbow colours for a gold coin donation Rainbow cupcakes will be sold at recess for $2.00
