A Message from our Principal
Dear Parent/caregivers,
Congratulations and thanks to Rebecca Burridge (President), Caroline
Harwood (Vice President), Leanne Wood (Secretary), Verushka Potter
(Treasurer) who were elected to the executive committee of the P&C
association last Thursday evening.
The executive will discuss the most appropriate time for meetings and
advertise the meeting time via the newsletter and Facebook. If you
would like to join the P&C and have a suggested meeting time that
may suit others as well as yourself, please contact a member of the
committee.
The Grounds Committee were planning to have a Busy Bee during the
school holidays. Unfortunately, we are unable to set a date until we
are able to move the large logs to the junior playground. If anyone has
a contact for someone who has the equipment suitable to move these
logs please let me know.
For your forward planning, attached to this newsletter, you will find the
term two planner. All planned events are advertised so that you
and your family can attend the assemblies and events planned to
enrich our students educational experience.
School events, plans and excursion notes are available on the school webpage [email protected], and in the School Space which can be accessed by you Connect login. In the final 2 weeks of term, students will have the opportunity to
participate in activities which are part of the Health and Physical
Education plan for 2018. The Life Education Van visited this week.
This program is supported by ALCOA and the visit to the Bike
Education facility at Maylands is supported by the City of Rockingham.
We thank them for their support of these programs.
Enjoy your term break
Kind regards,
Gail Sampson Principal
