Food and NutritionAssigned on Seesaw or read the following passage and then visit the YouTube link below to watch a video about the five good groups.

Children are growing and therefore they need different and nutritional foods for a healthy diet. Each food group has different nutrients so we need to eat from each one. Our daily choice of food must be varied. The major food groups are fruit, vegetables, low fat or fat free dairy products and whole grains. We also have to drink regularly (fruit and vegetable juice, water and tea). We always wash our hands before we eat. We follow table manners and set the table. When we eat our snack at school, we don't talk with a full mouth. We chew with our mouth closed. We bring food to our face, not our face to our food.
