Fourth Grade Crusaders’ Newsletter Mrs. Whiteside April 8, 2016 Welcome Back! We have had a great first week. Our ReflexMath membership will expire soon. Our class doubled the number of facts we were fluent in! Thank you for allowing your child to practice this at home. Please remember to keep moving for Crusaders Move . Please record your child’s time on the blue sheet in 15 minute increments. Please continue to encourage students to study a little each day for spelling and memory verse. Please remind students to read for AR. Students need to take 4 tests before the end of the grading period. This score is a part of their language grade. Also, please encourage your child to study multiplication facts. Thank you for your hard work. We will focus on the parable of the wise and the foolish builders. We will learn how Students will study the American Revolution in NC. Students will continue working on pages for the North Carolina Notebook. Next week, students Students will compare and order decimals. They will also solve problems using decimals. English Language Arts—Students will continue reading Saved At Sea in small groups and begin working on activities to finish out the book. They will continue studying cause and effect and begin studying point of view. Students

Students will compare and order decimals. They will also solve problems using decimals.

English Language Arts—Students will continue reading Saved At Sea in small groups and begin working on activities to finish out the book. They will continue studying cause and effect and begin studying point of view. Students will finish studying pronouns.

Students will study the American Revolution in NC. Students will continue working on pages for the North Carolina Notebook. Next week, students will receive information about the tasks that will need to be completed at home and the requirements for arranging the notebook.
