.33 of a number is .002 ofanother. What is the ratio of

these numbers? Let us assume that the number is 66. Now letus get the first number by dividing 6 by .333.

We get: 66/.33 = 200. let us now get the 2nd

number by dividing 66 by .002. 66/.002 = 33000. thus ratio of the numbers is

    : 1:165 answer.

    A,B, C start a business withcapital in ratio of 1/3 , 1/5

and . A withdraws half ofhis capital after 6 months.

But B doubles his capitalafter 6 months. Annualprofits are Rs. 10000. how

    do you divide the profits?

Let us take LCM of 3,5,4 = 60. Now multiply 60 by

    these ratios: 20, 12, 15.

    A will withdraw half after 6 months, so his capital is10*6 +20*6 = 180. 12*6 + 24*6= 216. , 15*12 = 180.

thus new ratio of their capital is : 180:216:180. their

ratio is :10:12:10 or 5:6:5. thus their profits are :

    5/16*10000 =3125,3750 and 3125 ans.

    1/6 1/10 = 4/60 OR 1/15. We can empty filled tank
