2013 Theme2013 ThemeThe Church, if it has discerned what God is doing, would readily
agree that it is no longer business as usual; God is doing a new
thing. Therefore, theres no room or tolerance for being content
with the status quo. God is anxiously waiting for His people to
embrace Next Level Ministry by embracing the total truth of
His Word through pure obedience.

Pilgrimage to PentecostWhat is every member of the Church Of God In Christ requested to
do? You are asked by the Presiding Bishop to take 11 minutes out ofyour prayer time every day for the 50 day Pilgrimage from Easter orResurrection Sunday (March 31, 2013) until the Day of Pentecost(May 19, 2013) to praying 11 Petitions to the Throne of Grace forrevival and renewal of Pentecostal power.
What are the prayer needs? The prayer needs are provided in the
list of 11 Petitions of Prayer created by the anointed scholars of theChurch Of God In Christ.
Why 11 minutes? This is 11 minutes of your prayer time. This willmake it more feasible for all of our 6 million members to participate;because everyone is not a seasoned prayer warrior and the Presiding
Bishop requests that EVERY saint joins in the prayer. While many of us can handle long seasons
of prayer; we want the youth, baby saints, and everyone to join in this time of consecration.
Suggested 11 Minute Prayer: 1 minute per petition. If you can do more or less than 11 minutesthats great; as long as everyone does something. EVERY PRAYER COUNTS!
You are also requested to fast. Tuesday and Friday are fast days in the Church Of God In Christ. The Presiding Bishop is asking that you use your Friday fast day to petition Gods throne duringthis Pilgrimage to Pentecost. Our fast times are Midnight to 3:00 p.m.
The Lansing Church of God in Christ is a praying church with many corporate prayer timesavailable throughout the week. Please make it a priority to join your LCOGIC family incorporate prayer. See Evangelist Joyce Jackson if you have questions regarding prayer daysand times.
