Do a literature search and make a summary of various manipulatives that can be used in the teaching of any TWO topics from the following areas : Numbers and Operations, Measures, Shapes and Space. Outline the importance and benefits of using manipulatives in the primary mathematics classroom. Discuss how appropriate manipulatives can be incorporated in the teaching of the two topics summarised above to bring about effective learning of mathematics. Focus on two mathematical concepts or skills for each topic chosen and include details of manipulatives, instructional steps or procedures for activities elaborated. Submit a written report supported by relevant documents using a suitable format.
