Penni McLean-Conner Chief Customer Officer & SVP

Penni McLean-Conner is Chief Customer Officer and Senior Vice President of Customer Group for Eversource Energy. She and her team

are responsible for providing Eversource’s 3.7 million electric and gas customers with a consistently positive experience. This includes a cost-effective portfolio of energy efficiency programs that tops $500 million annually and provides Eversource customers with valuable efficiency services ranked first in the nation.

Penni is a recognized industry thought leader with over 25 years of experience, a three-time published author and columnist for Electric Light and Power Magazine.

She is a 2016 recipient of the New England Women in Energy and the Environment Achievement Award and the 2017 Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Award for Achievement in Management.

A registered Professional Engineer, Penni holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University. She is active in the industry and her community through several organizations including the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE), the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley, CS Week, and the Boston Green Ribbon Commission.

Anthony Marone III

Anthony (“Tony”) Marone is

President and Chief Executive Officer

of UIL Holdings, the parent company

of The United Illuminating Company (UI), Southern

Connecticut Gas (SCG), Connecticut Natural Gas (CNG) and

Berkshire Gas Company (BGC). In this role, he has overall

responsibility for thecompany’s electric and natural gas

operating companies in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Tony joined United Illuminating in 1987 as an assistant

engineer. He has extensive utility and leadership

experience and has progressed through various positions

in engineering, generation, business development and

client/customer services.

At the time of the merger with AVANGRID, Inc. in 2015,

Tony held the position of Senior Vice President for

customer and business services at UIL Holdings

Corporation. He was appointed Senior Vice President of

gas operations of Avangrid Networks in May of 2016, and

stepped into his current role on Sept. 9, 2016.

Tony has a master’s degree in engineering and business

management from the University of New Haven and a

bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the

New York Institute of Technology.

Mike Calviou SVP, Regulation & Pricing

National Grid USA

Mike is responsible for overseeing

the regulatory and pricing

functions of National Grid across

all of National Grid’s U.S. jurisdictions and

operating companies.

Mike has spent 25 years working for National Grid plc in

various capacities in the U.S. and U.K., including senior

leadership positions in Customer Support, Asset

Management, and Strategy.

Before moving to his current role in 2015, he previously

led all of the customer and commercial activities as well

as the strategic design for Great Britain’s (GB) electricity

and gas transmission networks. This included managing

the regulatory and contractual framework that governed

connections to the electricity and gas transmission

systems; responsibility for all major policy decisions; and

the development of strategy in relation to the market

design and industry frameworks in the U.K. and Europe.

Mike has a degree in Theoretical Physics from Cambridge

University.

David Ohayon

Pratt & Whitney - Connecticut

David Ohayon is the Associate

Director of Power Plants and

Energy for Pratt & Whitney’s Connecticut Operations.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from

McGill University working in various manufacturing

environments before joining Pratt & Whitney in 2014.

Passionate about energy efficiency and sustainable

manufacturing operations, David has successfully

implemented several projects and programs to reduce

GHG emissions, water consumption and transportable

waste.

Christopher Dupuis Director of Capital Projects

CT State Colleges & Universities

Chris has over 20 years of

experience in higher education

facilities management and

consulting engineering services, working in both public

and private higher education, municipal and

government markets. Chris oversees several system-

wide programs and initiatives for the 17 colleges and

universities including, but not limited to, capital

construction, renewable energy, energy conservation,

utility procurement and hazard mitigation.

Robert Klee Commissioner Connecticut Department of

Energy and Environmental

Protection

Rob was appointed by Governor Dannel P. Malloy in

January 2014. He joined DEEP in April 2011 as Chief of Staff. In that role he oversaw the work of the agency, supported the efforts of the Commissioner, and advised the Commissioner and senior staff on a wide range of environmental and energy policy issues.

Rob holds a Ph.D. from Yale’s School of Forestry

& Environmental Studies in industrial ecology,

a law degree from Yale, and an undergraduate

degree from Princeton in geology and

environmental science.

Mary is responsible for the

development and

policies designed to bring cheaper, cleaner, and more

reliable power to Connecticut’s families and businesses

– and integrating these efforts with a 21st century

approach to regulating and directing the state’s

electric, natural gas, and water utilities.

Mary graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield,

Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental

Studies and a concentration in Social Sciences. On a

Fulbright Fellowship, she pursued graduate coursework

in Science and Environmental Management at the

Université Libre de Bruxelles, in Brussels, Belgium.
