Since 2014, our Social Investment Grants Program has supported dozens of not-for-profit organisations in their quest to help excluded, marginalised and disadvantaged people. Not only does the program strengthen communities, it also strengthens the not-for-profit organisations that many people rely on to get by. We’re proud to be running the program again in 2020 with both monetary and in-kind grants available.

This year’s theme

We received an overwhelming number of applications for our 2019 program highlighting the need for further funding across the sector. That’s why in 2020 we are continuing with the theme of building capacity for impact.

The 2020 theme casts the net much wider and encourages all organisations that are ‘building capacity for impact’ to apply. To view past projects and programs funded please view our website: communitysectorbanking.com.au/grants

Funding available

A total grant pool of $300,000 is available in 2020. Applications can be made for grants of either $25,000 or $50,000.

In addition to monetary grants, this year’s program will also include five in-kind strategic impact grants to help not-for-profits build capacity in their organisations.

Community Sector Banking will provide a specialised staff member to assist your organisation on a capacity building project of strategic importance. This might include developing a marketing and communications strategy, a board governance training program or measuring the impact of your program to help attract future funding.

Applications can be made for five in-kind strategic impact grants of 20 hours.
