Wednesday, January 13, 2009 To Whom It May Concern: It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to praise Vincent Tomecek as a dynamic IT professional. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Vince at different times over the years but most recently from early 2004 until my retirement at the end of 2007. During that period I was Vincent’s immediate manager as he worked with my team as a Technical Solution Architect. His primary responsibilities were to cost and develop technical solutions for complex commercial customer environments. Vincent dealt with customer technicians and executives alike in his activities as well as interacting constantly with a large variety of our IBM technicians and all levels of management. He built his technical expertise in both the Mainframe and Midrange disciplines and demonstrated incredible capability to master and maneuver in multiple complex environments. Vincent was fearless and his energy and enthusiasm for his work were limitless. In my more than 20 years in managing personnel in dynamic teams he was without a doubt the fastest study and the best at being able to think and solution quickly in a constant changing customer environment. He was tireless, willing to do whatever was necessary to meet the customer’s expectations and help his team reach its goals for developing quality solutions. Vincent has the total package, complete technical skills and all the soft skills required to thrive in any complex, professional environment. His leadership skills inspire confidence and respect. Vincent was a catalyst for success in every project he was involved with during our working relationship. His versatility, energy and enthusiasm position him for success in whatever he is involved with. Any organization would be very well served to have Vincent Tomecek as part of their team. Sincerely, Michael R. Williams Management, Retired
