Jacqui VineJacqui Vine studied Music Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts, majoring on the trumpet. On completing her studies, Jacqui worked as a freelance musician, working regularly with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, State Orchestra of Victoria and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Jacqui was a full time musician with the Royal Australian Air Force Central Band for six years and has toured Australia extensively. Since moving to Bendigo, Jacqui completed her Diploma of Education and has been teaching senior classroom music and developing the brass and band program at Girton Grammar. Jacqui’s musical interests are varied, from adjudicating for the Victorian Bands League Competitions through to composition projects for various community ensembles. Jacqui is passionate about music education and enjoys listening to music students discover their confidence in performance.
Matt DudfieldMatt Dudfield graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in 1998, majoring in French Horn, and recently graduated from the University of Southern Queensland with a Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching. Matt has only moved to Bendigo this year, having taught instrumental music in Northern Tasmania for 22 years. Matt has performed in a variety of musical ensembles and toured both nationally and internationally. He has been a member of Australian Brass on two occasions, won many Tasmanian solo titles and came 2nd in the National Open Tenor Horn Championship. Another passion of Matt’s is Musical Theatre and has performed in over 100 productions as a musician, often swapping between several instruments. He has also Musically Directed 30 shows, his last one being ‘Wicked’ in March 2017 for Encore Theatre Company in Launceston, Tasmania.
