i. The Village of Perry and the Village of Warsaw are currently the only fire departments with a ladder truck. One comment made was for one of these villages to sell their ladder truck to a fire department on the opposite side of the county so the equipment was more evenly distributed. Mayor Robinson, V/Warsaw pointed out that the Village of Warsaw could never do that. Not with facilities such as the county hospital and Skilled Nursing facility, East Side Nursing Home, the new Senior Citizen apartments with over 120 units and a proposed hotel with 60 + rooms...

1. Wyoming County could utilize a few of the 15 Tappan Z Bridge panels acquired from the state.

2. Wyoming County would replace one (1) state bridge located within the county lines per year without greatly affecting county projects.

Chairman Berwanger explained that he has talked to Suzanne Savage, Anne Thayne and Rich Tobe about the proposal. The Chairman plans to speak with Mr. Tobe in greater detail during the NYSAC Fall conference in Rochester in a few weeks.

County Highway builds their own box culverts. A few years ago Wyoming County sent a few to eastern counties in New York to repair damages from flooding
